Honey Lemon Pepper Salmon with Water Chestnuts
It has been a long time since I have not gotten fully in to my Friday cooking but today is one of those days. I wanted all easy recipes and I have been successful in that. This salmon has four ingredients, one being the fish, another a spice plus two other easy to get items. It took almost no time to throw them together. The hardest part was finding the right size pan for the salmon and that was not particularly difficult. This would fit under Quick and Easy recipes.
I added the water chestnuts to this recipe which makes it five ingredients, because I opened the can, earlier in the week and I still had enough left, for another dish.
Honey Lemon Pepper Salmon with Water Chestnuts
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon gluten free soy sauce
1 tablespoon melted margarine or butter
honey lemon pepper
2 salmon fillets
1/3 cup of sliced water chestnuts
onion powder – added at last minute – up to six ingredients
Method:
Spray baking pan.
Mix soy sauce and melted margarine or butter.
Place salmon in baking pan with water chestnuts on the side.
Brush the soy sauce mixture on the salmon. I made a little more to pour over the water chestnuts to give them some distinct flavor.
Shake the onion powder over fish and chestnuts. Sprinkle honey lemon pepper over fish. (If you can’t get this, just use lemon pepper.)
Enjoy!
